Bemidji State football concluded National Signing Day on Wednesday by announcing its list of 31 student-athletes that will be joining the program ahead of the 2023 season. Head coach Brent Bolte met with the media to share details on the signees, which included three transfers.

Six wide receivers–including an addition to the list later in the day following Bolte’s press conference–headlined the positional groups, with five defensive backs and five linebackers also included. Minnesota topped the states represented among the recruits with 14 of the class members coming from BSU’s home state.

Running back Ali Mohamed headlined the group of transfers, arriving at BSU from fellow NSIC competitor Minot State after compiling 2,567 yards and 20 touchdowns on the ground over the last three seasons combined.

Among players with local ties, the Beavers signed three student-athletes familiar to northern Minnesota: fullback and long snapper Eli Pfeiffer of Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, linebacker Ridge Flatness of Blackduck, and wide receiver Ethan Biehn of Bemidji.
