Chloe Hasbargen, a two-time Section 8AA team champion with Bemidji girls tennis, announced her signing to play collegiate tennis next year for The College of St. Scholastica in a ceremony Wednesday at Bemidji High School.

Hasbargen played a vital role in helping Bemidji capture back-to-back section crowns in 2020 and 2021. After playing on the number two doubles tandem during her junior year in 2020, Hasbargen and Tatum Offerdahl teamed up to play the number one slot for the 2021 fall season. The pair won both of their matches during Bemidji’s 6-1 win against St. Cloud Tech in the section semifinal and the 4-3 championship victory against Becker.

St. Scholastica is coming off an 8-8 season and competes in the NCAA Division III’s Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
