Bemidji High School senior Nettie Kimble officially signed to play college hockey for Franklin Pierce University next year in a ceremony at the high school on Wednesday.

A member of the Bemidji varsity team since she was in 8th grade, Kimble has been a mainstay in net for the Lumberjacks in the last two seasons. In addition to totaling 10 wins in her junior year, she posted a 3.33 goals against average with a .899 save percentage.

Though her senior season goals against number has risen to 5.30, Kimble’s save percentage has stayed at .885 ahead of the Lumberjacks’ final three regular season games. Her saves total of 575 currently ranks second in the state.

Franklin Pierce–located in New Hampshire–played just a two-game schedule this winter due to COVID-19, but the Ravens went 21-11 in their most recent full season in 2019/20.
