Joining the ranks of recent Bemidji High School runners to take their talents to the collegiate level, senior Ethan Maish signed a National Letter of Intent to run cross country next year for the University of Mary in a signing ceremony on Wednesday.
Maish played a significant role in helping the Lumberjacks capture the Section 8AA team title for cross country this past fall. The senior posted a time of 17:07.5 to finish 8th place individually, a mark good for third-best among Bemidji’s runners.
Maish is currently finishing out his senior season of varsity hockey for Bemidji and is the team’s leading goalscorer with seven goals this year.
