Bemidji High School senior and Male Athlete of the Year Brooks Matetich confirmed his signing to compete in cross country and track & field for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in a ceremony on Wednesday afternoon.

ERAU presented an opportunity for Matetich to both continue competing in cross country and track, while also pursuing studies in aeronautical engineering with aspirations of becoming a pilot.
