Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing Extravaganza Is Coming January 30th, And You Can Fish Right Where You’re At

Like everything else in the Covid era, the 31st Annual Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing Extravaganza, has had to be re-imagined. This year, rather than 10,000 holes on Gull Lake, it’s 10,000 lakes (or thereabouts). Going virtual, and using the Fish Donkey app, the Ice Fishing Extravaganza is now a Minnesota wide competition with any publicly accessible lake in the state a fishable water. And all you need to get involved is $50, the free Fish Donkey app, which can be downloaded from your phone’s app store, and to mark off noon to 3pm on your calendar Saturday, January 30th. For more details, go to the website HERE.

With the event going statewide, KBUN SportsRadio 104.5 will have a live broadcast of the Extravaganza’s Radio Show from 11am-4pm Saturday, January 30th. You’ll hear lots of ice fishing talk and updates on the tournament. In addition, if you are going to fish the tournament, go to our Extravaganza page on kbunsportsradio.com to register for the chance to win some great prizes to be given away throughout the broadcast. You can register HERE.

Once you have the Fish Donkey app, you just choose the Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing Extravaganza and pay your fee. Details on using the app during the tournament are available on the app and at the Extravaganza website.

We have a limited supply of tickets available at our BIG DEALS Online Store for $40 (a $10 savings) HERE. Once you get your ticket, you need to sign up on the Fish Donkey App and take a photo of the ticket through the app.

Again, any public water in Minnesota is an eligible place to fish, so you can use your favorite, secret spot.
