One of the regulars is calling it a day. As of Tuesday, August 3, the “Gone Fishin'” sign will be hanging on Henry Drewes office door. The 23 year Northwest Regional Fisheries Manager will be officially retired. He’s had a remarkable run which included the restoration of Red Lake, the battle of the cormorants and the turn around of Leech Lake, and he and his crew were in the middle of redoing northern and panfish regs.
He discusses it all, along with his concerns for the future. It’s always been a pleasure having Henry on the show and we will again in the future…but he’ll be on the water instead of in the office. Enjoy the show:
