FISHIN’ PAUL BUNYAN COUNTRY: United Way Fishing Tourney Is This Weekend & Jace Peterson Tells You Where They’re Biting

Jace Peterson of Northland Tackle

This is the week! The Lueken’s Village Foods United Way Fishing Tournament is back for its second year. Fishing will run from 7am Friday through 10pm Saturday. There’s a bass and walleye division with a guaranteed $3,000 first prize in each category. It’s all run through Tournament Angler’s website, so no rules meeting, no uniform starting spot or even uniform start time. You fish whenever you want in that stretch from any publicly accessible lake in Beltrami, Hubbard or Clearwater County. United Way of Bemidji Area Executive Director Denae Alamano is in with all the details.

Plus, where will you find the fish? Jace Peterson can help with that. Although we talked with him from Lake Minnetonka Monday, he’s been fishing all over Paul Bunyan Country and has all the details. Jace also has the resources of the rest of the Peterson clan, so the info is golden.
