A strong second-half performance propelled Bemidji boys basketball to a 59-44 victory over Willmar Tuesday evening at the Bemidji High School Fieldhouse. It was the Lumberjacks’ fifth-straight victory with the last four coming on home court.
Colten Jensen posted a team-high 18 points in the win. Silas Hess added 12–10 of which came in the second half–and Gavin Luksik provided 11 for the Jacks, who improved to 6-3 overall.
Jacob Rosendahl had a game-high 21 points in defeat for Willmar.
Bemidji hit four three-pointers in the game, split evenly between Hess and Nick Snell, who connected on this first-half trey:
The Lumberjacks took a 29-27 lead into halftime thanks to a clever late bucket from Luksik with just seconds remaining:
