The Lumberjack Boys Soccer, Girls Tennis and Girls Swim teams all hosted Moorhead last night and the Jacks went 1-2. The Boys Soccer team fell 3-0 and that game was on the Lumberjack Radio Network. You can get the details on that in Joel Hoover’s recap HERE.
LUMBERJACK GIRLS TENNIS
Another 6-1 win for the now 6-0 Lumberjacks. Bemidji has outscored their opponents 37-5 this year. Bemidji took 3 of the 4 singles matches. Savannah Haugen was a 6-2, 7-5 winner while Tatum Offerdahl remained unbeaten with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 win and Darby Neis bounced back from a 6-0 loss in the first set to take the next two 6-1, 7-5.
The Jacks swept the Doubles matches with the #1 tandem of Lexi Leitner and Nettie Kimble won 6-0, 6-1. Chloe Hasbargan and Paige Anderson won 6-2, 6-1 at 2nd Doubles, and at #3 Doubles, the 8th grade duo of Margie Anderson and Mollie Rupp were 6-2, 6-1 winners.
The Lumberjacks will host Alexandria at the High School Courts 4:30 Thursday.
LUMBERJACK GIRLS SWIMMING
Moorhead beat the Lumberjack Girls Swimmers 100-78 at the Bemidji High School Pool Tuesday, but the Jacks had four event winners.
According to the Bemidji Pioneer, Mady Schmidt won the Diving title, a regular occurrence, with another personal best score of 235.95. Also picking up wins for the Jacks were Marley Ueland in the 100 Back; Ava Lietz in the 100 Breast; and the 400 Free Relay team of Sophia Jones, Emily Vincent, Kayleigh Hickman and Demi Fisher.
The Jacks head to Alexandria to face the Cardinals in their pool Thursday night at 6pm.
The LUMBERJACK GIRLS SOCCER team will host Alexandria at Chet Anderson Stadium Thursday night at 7pm and the LUMBERJACK BOYS SOCCER team will be at Alexandria Friday night at 7pm.
