Lumberjack Boys Beat Alex For the First Time In 9 Years, Pick Up 4th Straight

The Lumberjacks shook off an early 8 point deficit, took a two point lead into the locker room and dominated the second half enroute to a 69-48 win.The Jacks opened up the half with a 13-2 run. In all, it was a 29 point swing and the Jacks had a surprisingly lopsided win over Alexandria. In fact, it was their first win over the Cardinals in 9 years. Sophomore Gavin Luksik had a big game for the Jacks with 18 points and 8 rebounds, while Colton Jensen had another strong game. The senior had 19 points and 14 rebounds, with 15 points in the decisive 2nd half. Silas Hess added 15 points and 10 rebounds along with 5 assists.
