Why Do You Enjoy This Job?: I love telling the story of a game as it is happening and providing these kids and their families with valuable memories to savor. I thank God for this job and a wonderful community to broadcast for!

Why Do You Enjoy This Job?: To be able to cover Bemidji High School athletics in a full and consistent manner (and best in all of northern Minnesota) is special. All of us are passionate about sports, and Bemidji is a hub in north central Minnesota. The people I work with, and the passion and knowledge they have is readily apparent in all of our broadcasts…and we all get along famously! This is just about as good as it gets, outside of time with my family (wife, two sons, and two granddaughters)!

Favorite Sports Memory: In my junior year at BHS, I inbounded the ball to a teammate who hit a buzzer-beater shot to win the game. It was against Detroit Lakes, where it is always fun and a competitive environment. Our bench stormed the court and we all celebrated in front of their student section.
Why Do You Enjoy This Job?: I enjoy engineering for the Lumberjack Radio Network because I still feel like I am part of the Bemidji High School sports seasons in some sort of way. I can keep up with who the student-athletes are and how their teams are doing throughout the year.
