Bemidji will once again be represented at the World Junior Curling Championships next month in Russia.

Bemidji wrestling continued its strong season Thursday evening at the Bemidji High School Fieldhouse with a pair of dual victories against top-10 teams from Class A. The Lumberjacks defeated #6 Badger-Greenbush-Middle River 42-25 before topping #9 Frazee 52-19.

Bemidji High School and North Dakota State University alum James Hendricks visited High Noon on Friday to talk about the latest national championship for the Bison and his various big plays that helped make the victory possible.

Dr. Mark Carlson joined High Noon for his bi-weekly Sanford Orthopedics & Sports Medicine “Health & Sports” segment on Wednesday. This week, Dr. Carlson discussed tendon pain and some of the differences between various tendon ailments.

Bemidji State men’s hockey head coach Tom Serratore joined High Noon earlier this week to discuss the team’s season to this point, the development of the young players within the team, and the value of games and competitions between the state’s Division I programs.

As expected, the winter weather is wiping out much of the Lumberjack weekend schedule.
