The Lumberjack Boys Hockey and Basketball teams are back in action Tuesday and you’ll hear both games on the Lumberjack Radio Network.

The Lumberjack Girls Basketball team snapped a three game losing streak with a dominant performance in St. Cloud, while the Gymnasts took second at the nine team Moorhead Invite and set more record in the process. Also this weekend, the Lumberjack Boys Swimmers finished fourth at their own Invitational.

The Bemidji State Mens Hockey team maintained its second place position in the WCHA with another sweep, while the BSU Women stunned #1 Wisconsin. In hoops, both teams were swept at home, with both mens games going to overtime.

Adam Flammang and Conner Couet each scored their second goal of the game on the power play in the third period as St. Michael-Albertville defeated Bemidji 4-2 on Saturday in the Lumberjacks’ Senior Day game at the Bemidji Community Arena.

The 2020 Rick Lee Duals concluded with a second round of pool play on Saturday, as Bemidji wrestling went 2-1 in the top pool to finish as runners-up in the event. The Lumberjacks topped Thief River Falls 48-27, came from 22-0 down to defeat Big Lake 48-22, then finished with a 42-18 loss to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Browerville.

All Conference Safety James Hendricks, former Lumberjack, made a big impression on NDSU’s Championship win over James Madison.
