This week was once again packed with great interviews from the outdoor world. Mandy Uhrich joined the show Tuesday(Details HERE), and the rest of the week was loaded with familiar and new voices. On Wednesday, Keith Tuma joined the show to discuss he and partner Andy Walls’ awesome showing on Woman Lake which earned them Minnesota BASS Nation Team of the Year and a spot in the Bassmaster National Team Championship. And speaking of bass, we asked Dr. Andy Hafs of Bemidji State University why smallmouth numbers are growing in Paul Bunyan Country.
On Thursday, more bass tournament talk. Adam Rasmussen of Sturgeon Bay, WI was on Pelican Lake in Orr, MN for a Champions Tour Event and reeled in 247+ pounds of bass…in one day! He has all the details of the record shattering performance, plus Wisconsin walleye, bass and salmon fishing. And we put the spotlight on an amazing little lake in the Park Rapids area for our Lake of the Week.
And we wrapped up the week by checking in with Matt Breuer of North Country Guide Service. Bear season is underway and Matt has been getting his clients some bear. We’ll find out how the season has gone so far, what other hunting seasons he’s ready for and even some shocking…shocking I say!…stories about Jason Rylander.
