Bemidji State University Senior Haley Mack isn’t through playing hockey. She became the first ever Beaver to be drafted into the National Women’s Hockey League when she was taken in the fourth round Wednesday night by the Minnesota Whitecaps.
Mack led the Beavers with 28 points this past season and had a team leading 15 goals. She is the #5 scorer all time and set a program record with five shorthanded goals. Mack earned WCHA All-Academic honors throughout her four years at Bemidji and was a three time WCHA Scholar Athlete.
She joins former Beaver Steph Anderson on the Whitecaps roster. Anderson signed as a free agent after two years in the CWHL.
